Abstract The projectile launched by electromagnetic weapon has strong kinetic energy. In order to study the laws and characteristics of induction coilgun launching underwater, a multi-stage model was established in this paper. Based on control variates method, effects trigger position, coil turns, capacitance value other parameters process were studied, then above factors efficiency exit speed analyzed. results show that optimal position offsets direction breech with increase speed; turns for certain occurs when is determined; can projectile, should be selected according efficiency-speed curve launch considered; seawater resistance little influence acceleration comparatively large there no driving force. research paper provide theoretical support manufacture underwater prototype.
